Grounding Meditation Circle (May 7)
Want to feel lighter, free and refreshed? Need to shed the weight of the world for an afternoon? Sit, breathe, rest. We make it easy to experience meditation. Come try on a few different approaches to inner peace. Perfect for a solo date, couples time, a meaningful experience with Mom, or self-care with your girlfriends. Everyone is welcome!
Restore Your Core fitness series (begins May 16)
Increase core strength. Tune in to your natural core function. Learn how your current posture and movement habits may be weakening your belly. Most importantly, gain insight into simple, everyday life adjustments that make your core stronger. Mother+Daughter Yoga Date! (May 14)
Mothers and their daughters (ideal for ages 5 through tween) make sweet connections in this workshop! Whether you’ve been before or want to discover something new with your girl, join us! No yoga experience required. You’ll adore chatting, crafting, breathing, stretching and spending time with your girl in a unique way this Mother’s Day! Create mindful memories you’ll really cherish on your mother-daughter yoga date.
Prenatal Mama Circle (May 21)
From the body weirdness to the mind-boggling worry, pregnancy can be overwhelming. Even when everything is perfectly normal, it’s still a whole lotta new experiences. Take a breath, mama, and sit for a moment. Gather with other moms-to-be for peace and quiet, a deep breath, and time to talk it all through.
Sisterhood of Loss Circle (May 21)
Too many women know the heartbreak of a child gone to soon. Not enough women know how much support there is from other mothers who’ve experienced such loss. Gather in a mindful, nonjudgmental space for mother-to-mother grief support for loss at any stage: miscarriage, still birth, infancy, the loss of a child at any gestation or age. Please note this is not a professional therapy group, though you may find the experience healing.
Pelvic Floor Workshop (May 27)
Ladies, if you’ve ever “laughed so hard, tears ran down your leg,” you know there’s nothing funny about the dreaded sneeze-pee. Do you feel a separation between your abdominals? Maybe you’re worried about a weak core, tight hips and aching low back. In this workshop, learn simple restorative exercises (based on biomechanics and the Nutritious Movement work of Katy Bowman) and changes to your everyday alignment to bring great strength and better function to your core and pelvic floor.
